Meet the maker of Family Blueprint

From making children's TV to a belief in every child

Dad StoneBusiness owner · Creator · Producer · Consultant · Father of two · the “Family Journey” channel

Dad Stone is a producer of children's TV and a father of two, with a keen interest in psychology and self-understanding, who wants to help parents understand each child's own rhythm.

1

Years of making children's TV

Years of making children's programmes and working alongside children showed, again and again, that every child has their own spark and rhythm. Some need to try first, some need to watch first, some need to be invited.

2

A belief

A belief that every child can grow into the best version of themselves when the adults around them understand them and support them in the right way, rather than making them be like someone else.

3

At home, and the search

Our own two children are nothing alike. That led to studying psychology, child development and self-understanding, and to the Human Design framework, which made each person's rhythm clearer. Trying it at home changed how the family listened to each other.

Family Blueprint

So the idea became a tool every family can use: easy to understand, in Thai, helping parents see who their child is and support them to be their best self.

Common questions

Is Family Blueprint fortune-telling?

No. We work out a chart from date, time and place of birth using the Human Design system, then write it up so parents can notice themselves and their children. We don't predict the future, tell fortunes, or follow any religion.

How reliable is it? Is it science?

Human Design has not been scientifically proven, so we use it as a frame for noticing, not as fact. On development, sleep and health we draw on children's health bodies such as the American Academy of Pediatrics and the World Health Organization, and every page shows which side a piece of advice comes from.

I don't know the exact birth time. Can I still use it?

Yes. Check the birth certificate, the mother-and-child health book or the hospital first. If you still don't know, we use midday and tell you which parts may be off. The energy type usually stays the same, but some details can change. You can fix the time whenever you find it.

It doesn't sound like my child. Is it wrong?

First check the birth time, since a small error can change some details. Children also show themselves differently at different ages and in different places. Keep only what helps you understand your child, and set aside what doesn't fit. What you see at home matters more than any chart.

My child and I are different types. Will we clash?

Not at all. Most homes have different types living together, and being different doesn't mean you're a bad match. The app shows what each of you needs, where misunderstandings tend to happen, and how each pair can support each other.

Once I know my child's type, do I give in to everything?

No. A Blueprint helps you choose ways of asking and inviting that suit your child better, but it isn't a reason to drop the rules. Safety, sleep and respect at home are still set by the adults.

Should I tell my child their type?

There's no need. What really helps is the way you adjust your care. If you talk about it, use everyday words, like “You like a little rest after school, don't you?”, rather than a label. If an older child is curious, you can explore it together openly.

Can it replace a doctor if I'm worried about development or attention?

No. A chart can't confirm or rule out anything about development, attention or mental health. If you're worried, talk to a paediatrician or a child specialist. The app points out signs that are worth a professional's view in many topics.

What ages is it for?

Children from birth to 18, in seven age bands: 0–3, 4–6, 7–9, 10–12, 13–14, 15–16 and 17–18. The content changes as your child grows, and from 19 they get the adult guide. Parents and other adults at home get their own guide.

Every child is different. Every family is unique.
